On March 26, 2017 will leave Bulgarian cave expedition to the Holy Mountain Athos – Greece which will take place within the international program for study the caves of Mount Athos initiated by Bulgaria & Greece. For the third time the expedition is organized under the flag of Bulgarian cave Society (BPD). The team is composed by A. Zhalov – BPD, SC „Helictit“ – Sofia – Team leader; A.Kirov – BPD, SC „Studenetz“ Pleven, Bulgarian National Association of Underwater Activity ; K.Stoichkov – SC „Helictit“ Sofia; T.Todorov – BPD, SC „Mrak“ – Etropole. The main objective of the event is the geodetic lashed to the cadastral plan of Bulgarian monastery „St. Martyr Georgi Zograf“ the caves and artificial underground cavities (galleries) explored in the area in 2016 and the survey and mapping of new caves around. In fulfillment of the tasks to Bulgarian group will join representative of our Greek partners on the program the speleologist K. Bakolitsas – Greek Federation of Speleology, SC „SELAS“ Athens
