During the last few days, we’ve began to look at the autumn and make new adventures. The autumn is romantic – the trees are colorful, the leaves fall, it starts to rain, it becomes muddy…. we have arrived at our romance! If you, like us, look for adrenaline and do not worry about getting sick in the cave world! Speleologists are a special breed of people, combining childish curiosity and discovery. Speleology? You do not know what’s wrong, we’ll explain, explain and show you!
On the course you will get basic knowledge of what the caves are and how they are formed, you can make knots almost like the headphones in your pocket! We will teach you on SRT single rope technique (this is your first term!) That you need to journey safely into the caves. We will also show you how to make a map, introduce you to cave animals, and last but not least, you will get first aid knowledge. Of course all theoretical knowledge will be exercised in practice. At the end of the course, we will be screenwriters, and the stage and role will be yours, and your task is to show us what you have learned and what you can do.
The course will be conducted by experienced instructors with extensive experience in cave expeditions around the world and in Bulgaria. The theoretical lessons will be once a week at the “Earth and Man” National Museum, while the practical ones will be held on Saturday and Sunday on rocks and in caves.
